Sales Support / Funding Representative

We are seeking a Funding Representative to strengthen the accuracy, quality control, and scalability of our equipment finance operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, you will support core business processes, identify errors and operational risks before they become issues, and continuously improve how we process and manage commercial equipment finance transactions in our loan management system. This role is a strong fit for someone who is detail-driven, process-oriented, and motivated by building a best-in-class operational foundation in a growing platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Processing & Workflow Management

  • Organize and coordinate the processing of equipment finance and commercial loan products, ensuring transactions move efficiently from intake through booking/funding readiness.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure required conditions and documentation are satisfied and properly reflected in the system of record.

• Quality Control & Data Integrity

  • Review loan applications and related documentation and validate data inputs withing ElmBlue’s loan origination system.

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all data entered; identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.

  • Maintain the integrity of the system of record through disciplined controls, documentation standards, and proactive issue identification.

• Best Practices & Continuous Improvement

  • Implement and enforce best practices that reduce errors, improve processing quality, and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend practical changes that measurably improve accuracy and cycle times.

  • Elevate trends, issues, and opportunities to the COO and executive leadership with clear context, impact assessment, and recommended next steps.

•  Team Enablement

  • Provide support, guidance, and training to junior-level employees, helping ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of services and products.

  • Contribute to a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications

• Experience in operations supporting equipment finance/leasing, commercial lending, or a similar financial services environment.

• Demonstrated ability to perform quality control, identify errors, and maintain high standards for data accuracy in a workflow-driven environment.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with deadlines.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including comfort escalating issues and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general business systems; ability to learn new tools quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a loan management/origination/servicing system (LMS/LOS) and comfort working with structured data fields.

• Familiarity with documentation workflows, booking/funding processes, and transaction-level controls in equipment finance.

• Exposure to operational risk controls, audit readiness, or formal QA processes.
