Syndication Credit Analyst

We are seeking a Syndication Analyst to play a key role in supporting our sales team by structuring and placing financing opportunities with our network of capital partners. This role focuses on managing non-balance sheet transactions, packaging deals for syndication, and ensuring alignment between transaction structures and partner appetite. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and communication skills, an understanding of financing structures, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment. This position reports to the Director of Credit.

This is an in-office position with potential flexibility for occasional remote work post-onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze transaction details, financial statements, and supporting documentation to position deals for successful syndication to capital partners

  • Structure and package financing opportunities for non-balance sheet execution, aligning deal attributes with partner credit boxes and appetite

  • Present opportunities to lender and investor partners in a clear, compelling manner to drive approvals and funding outcomes

  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and capital partners, facilitating communication, feedback, and required adjustments to move transactions forward

  • Manage a pipeline of active transactions, maintaining accurate records in internal systems and ensuring timely progression through approval and funding stages

  • Develop and maintain relationships with a network of lender and capital partners to support consistent deal flow and execution efficiency

  • Monitor market conditions, capital partner trends, and structuring strategies to optimize placement outcomes

  • Contribute to improving syndication workflows, deal packaging standards, and partner engagement strategies to enhance overall execution performance

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of relevant professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in equipment finance, commercial finance, syndication, or capital markets

  • Familiarity with lender/investor credit boxes and structuring transactions for placement rather than balance sheet underwriting

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to position and present deals effectively to external partners

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and financial analysis tools

  • Analytical, proactive, and results-oriented mindset

  • Self-motivated and collaborative, with a strong interest in deal structuring, capital placement, and partner management
